Information for Treatment Professionals

Dear Friends,

I am Candace Lane, the Admissions Director at The Center • A Place of HOPE. We have an outstanding and caring admissions team that is committed to working with you, our referral partners.

Do you have a client that you would like to refer to The Center? Our first priority is to ensure your client is treated with the same care and respect that you would provide. We also know they will be returning to your care once they complete treatment, and we work to make the indoctrination and return home as easy as possible for you both.

Here is what makes The Center different.

The Center • A Place of HOPE

For 30 years, The Center has successfully treated thousands struggling with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, PTSD, abuse, trauma, and addictions following the whole person care approach pioneered by our founder, Dr. Gregory Jantz.

Dedicated Team. Unique Programs.

We work closely with you and your client to learn about their unique situation. Based on your client’s needs, we assemble a dedicated treatment team just for them. We also create a unique program that addresses their specific needs and desires for their care.

How We Partner With Professionals Like You

We are proud of our commitment to our referral partners. It is important to us that you feel both comfortable and prepared when referring a client to The Center. We have worked to make the process easy and streamlined for you.

When we visit with you, we discuss the history of your client and receive the clinical information that you note is important for us to review. We complete a client assessment with you. The entire process can take as little as one hour. We are then ready to receive your referral in as quickly as 24-48 hours.

More information about referring your client to The Center.

“I have referred six clients to you, and I want to let you know how grateful I am for the professionalism and care you show not just to my clients, but to me as well. You always take time to review in depth each client of mine with me. You always help me understand exactly what my client can expect at A Place of Hope. Your communication with me, while my clients are with you, is always top notch.

Most importantly, each of my clients, without reservation, say your program profoundly changes their life. For that, we are both grateful. I will refer to you forever because of your team and your results. Thank you.”  – Clinical Team Leader, 12-member outpatient facility, Los Angeles, California.

What Can You Expect Once Your Client Arrives at The Center

First, prior to your client’s arrival, we visit with you as many times as you would like to ensure you are comfortable with the process. We know and respect the history and rapport you have established with your client, and we want to honor that relationship. We also know the change in venue and travel can add stress by itself. We work with you to ensure we are aware of any special circumstances your client has, or requirements your client needs.

We also want to stay in good communication with you while your client is with us. We know that they will be returning to your care, so we provide weekly updates for you the entire time your client is with us.

Here is more information about checking on your referrals.

“The admissions team was amazing! I felt heard, listened to, and validated. They answered all of my questions which were many. I felt so comfortable with them and for the first time in years that maybe there was hope for me. That first impression with your team made a big difference in my decision to get help and I am so thankful I did because I am a new person.” – Ellen P., 41.

Preparing For the Transition Back Home

Transitioning home for clients can be a time of exhilaration and joy. It can also include stressors and triggers of which we want to be very mindful.

Prior to your client’s return, we work with you to make it as smooth as possible.

  • We review with you their progress and discuss whether a stepdown program might be appropriate.

  • We also work with you to help find local support groups, if needed, to help you with your ongoing care.

  • We ensure your client receives their lifetime account to The Center’s Alumni Program, with private access to content, coursework, videos, webinar workshops, and invitations to live social and support events.

  • We also offer the opportunity to conduct a group meeting or discussion where the client, our treatment team and you can discuss the next phase of their recovery.

Our whole-person care produces excellent results. We truly care, and we often can help our fellow professionals complete the intensive care they have already begun.
