Do you take Anorexia patients?

Anorexia is an extremely serious condition, and we most certainly accept those patients displaying symptoms of anorexia nervosa. If you or someone you love suffers from anorexia, bulimia, or any other type of eating disorder, we can help! We will identify the cause of the illness, supply information of its dangers, and provide anorexia treatment that will have you feeling physically, emotionally, and mentally healthier than ever before.

Anorexia patientAnorexia is usually characterized by excessive weight loss through self-starvation. Some of the symptoms of anorexia include the following:

  • Refusal to maintain body weight at or above a minimally normal weight for height, body type, age, and activity level
  • Intense fear of weight gain or being “fat”
  • Feeling “fat” or overweight despite dramatic weight loss
  • Loss of menstrual periods
  • Extreme concern with body weight and shape

We live in a "pro anorexia" culture, where being thin is perceived as the ultimate in beauty and style. We are taught from an early age that heavier people are less attractive, less successful, and less valuable in our superficial society.

Ask Dr Jantz a questionThis creates esteem and image disorders in people young and old, female and male, even heavy and thin. Our counseling and health center is designed to dispel these dangerous perceptions and transform patients of all body types into healthy, self-respecting and self-assured people.

If you are experiencing anorexia nervosa symptoms or have cause to believe that someone you love may be suffering from anorexia, bulimia, or another eating disorder, contact our counseling and health center immediately for more information. Health, happiness, and freedom from anorexia are only a phone call away. For medical and emotional care you deserve, contact our anorexia treatment center today.
