I wouldn’t have completed the program if it were not for the Center’s team. The morning I walked into the office and told them it was too intense and I couldn’t do it, and was going to leave, they calmly walked me through the process of just having to “survive” that day with no other expectations. They did it in a caring loving way. Reminding me of the person that made the call for help and wanted to be there. No cliches. No fancy jargon. Just deep breath and breather. They got me over the hump and I am extremely grateful for that. They had nothing to gain if I stayed and nothing to lose if I left. The Center already was paid. It wasn’t about money; it was about them wanting me to be successful and keep on the path of recovery and healing.
