Thank you for bringing your grace and inspiration to the meeting of the Puget Sound
Career Development Association last Thursday. You convey love and a spiritual connection that spreads to other people. It was really interesting to see how this gift and your focus on eating disorders has helped you to evolve from Purdy, to a church and now to your buildings in Edmonds.
Your stories helped us to understand that healing people in serious difficulty is a group effort. The Center has reached critical mass in generating healing ideas and providing emotional support. You as an individual lead this.
You brought a personal counseling presence to our meeting, and effectively used the participants to generate some great ideas. I think everyone is more sensitive to how community support and individual compassion can be enlisted to address difficult personal situations.
You were very open to how you were being received and inquisitive about where the group wanted to go. One of the keys of spiritual discovery is this kind of listening.
I have had the pleasure of talking with Laura Minor, and she mentioned the possibility of my visiting the Center. I think this is a great idea.
