RENTAL CAR INFORMATION

Once you arrive in Seattle you are free to rent a car, but in most cases you will not need a car as we will provide transportation to and from the airport. However, Seattle is a beautiful city with many attractions, and having your own car may make your stay more enjoyable. There are nine rental car companies that have information counters in the baggage claim area at Sea-Tac Airport.  Five of them have car pick-up and drop-off at the airport on the first floor of the garage across from the Main Terminal. In addition, off-airport rental car companies provide courtesy van service to the airport. Below is a list of the rental car companies that service the Sea-Tac airport, and surrounding area.

SEATTLE VISITOR GUIDE

SEATTLE
NWSource.com is a great website navigating the in’s and out’s of Seattle life. Their Visitor’s Guide gives great info on local attractions, restaurants, shopping and more. Below is a link to their Visitor’s Guide.

Shopping
From antiques to boutiques, Seattle has a wide range of shopping options. If you have only shopped downtown, Bellevue, Ballard or the University District might be a fun place to venture. Check out this guide to the different shopping districts in the Seattle area.

The Weather
Seattle is definitely known for its rain, but it’s the rain that keeps the Northwest so lush and beautiful. Since you will be visiting towards the end of the winter, make sure you pack a jacket. The average temperature in March is 53° F. It rarely drops below freezing near the sea level areas of Seattle, but our weather can be a little unpredictable.  Don’t feel the need to pack an umbrella; surprisingly most Seattleites don’t use umbrellas, and are used to the light drizzle.
