Our Adult Chemical Dependency Program

Our state-certified Chemical Dependency Program is recognized as one of the leaders in the Puget Sound region with proven success for recovery from substance abuse.

We believe that recovery from addictions is possible. Our comprehensive care includes:

  • Adult Intensive Outpatient Programs
  • Family Therapy and Support Groups
  • Aftercare Program
  • Relapse Prevention
  • Substance Abuse Program
  • DUI Assessments
  • Deferred Prosecution Programs
  • Alcohol & Drug Information School
  • Nutritional Counseling Component  
Our team approach enables us to treat dual disorders and addictions.

We utilize the 12-step model for recovery, and require attendance to 12-step programs such as AA, NA, & ALANON.

PHASE I-Intensive Outpatient
PHASE II- Weekly Group
PHASE III-Monthly Group

PHASE I-Intensive Outpatient

Group Times

   Mornings (M-T-W 9:00 AM-11:00 AM)
   3 groups weekly for 2 hours
   12 weeks (72 hours)

   Evenings (M-W-Th 6:00 PM-8:00 PM)
                                   or
   Evenings (M-W-Th 5:00 PM-7:00 PM)
   3 groups weekly for 2 hours
   12 weeks (72 hours)

 

Individual Sessions

   3 sessions (every 30 days)
   1 session to transfer to Phase II
 

Urinalysis

   1 minimum ($10.00 each, cash prepaid only)

 

PHASE II- Weekly Group

Group Times

   Thursday morning (10:00 AM-11:30 AM)
   Tuesday evening (5:00 PM-6:30 PM; 6:30 PM-8:00 PM)
       1 group weekly for 1-1/2 hours
       24-26 weeks
 

Individual Sessions

   3 sessions (every 30 days) First Quarter
   1 session (quarterly)
   1 session to transfer to Phase III
 

Urinalysis

   3 minimum ($10.00 each, cash prepaid only)

 

PHASE III-Monthly Group

Group Times

   Third Monday of the Month
   Evening (5:00 PM-6:00 PM)
                          or
   Evening (6:00 PM-7:00 PM)
       1 hour-long group monthly
       12-15 months in duration
 

Individual Sessions

   At counselor's discretion or client's request
   1 session for discharge
 

Urinalysis

   4 minimum ($10.00 each,  cash prepaid only)

Substance Abuse Program

Group Times

   Evenings
   1 group weekly for 1-1/2 hours for 24-26 weeks
   1 group monthly for 1 hour for 6 months
 

Individual Sessions

   6 sessions (every 30 days) First Quarter
   1 session (quarterly)
   1 session to discharge

 

Alcohol/Drug Information School

Class Time (Fourth Saturday of each month at Edmonds)

   8 hours (8:00am-5:00pm, 1 hr lunch)
   Meets requirements of a DUI/NSP evaluation finding

   $75.00 plus $7.00 State-mandated class materials
   (Must be prepaid)

 

Our Adolescent Chemical Dependency Program

The Center, Inc. uses a combination of Hazelden Curriculum materials to create a Multi-Dimensional Adolescent component that treats the Whole Teen (Emotionally, Relationally, Physically, & Spiritually). Using L.I.B. (Living in Balance) and the H.E.L.P. (Hazelden Experiencial Learning Program)  series, The Center presents a variety of topics to encourage clean and sober living, as well as practical tools to achieve balanced living.
Topics Include:

  • Alcohol & Other Drug Education
  • Triggers
  • Cravings
  • Avoiding Relapse
  • Planning for Sobriety
  • Stress
  • Emotional Well-Being
  • And More Topics

PHASE I-Intensive Outpatient

Group Times

   Tue-Wed-Thur 3:00 PM-5:00 PM)
   6 hours per week for 12 weeks
 

Individual Sessions

   1 per month (more if desired)
 

Urinalysis

   1 minimum ($10.00 each, cash prepaid only)

 

PHASE II- Weekly Aftercare

Group Times

  
Mondays (3:00 PM-4:00 PM) Edmonds Office
       1 hr per week for 24 weeks
 

Individual Sessions

   1 per month (more if desired
 

Urinalysis

   3 minimum ($10.00 each, cash prepaid only)

 

PHASE III-Monthly Monitoring

Group Times

   1 hr, monthly check-in―As Needed
 

Urinalysis
