Attention Deficit Disorder

Depression

Divorce and Separation

Emotional Abuse
Not all wounds are visible. The damage of emotional abuse shows the folly of that childhood rhyme, “Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me.” Words can wound and attitudes can devastate emotional well-being. Our treatment programs recognize the often-overlooked negative effects of emotional abuse, and maintain a well-qualified staff of caring professionals who help those damaged by emotional abuse find healing and restoration.

Forgiveness
Those who hurt us have power over us, even long after the fact. In our treatment center, individuals can take that power back through the power of forgiveness. When you forgive another person, you agree to release the hurt. Through the framework of God’s forgiveness to us, and the example of Jesus, our treatment program incorporates the power of faith into the treatment and recovery process.

Grief and Loss
Those who suffer significant loss in their lives often feel as if a part of themselves has been ripped away – a hole that leaves them feeling overwhelmed, abandoned and, often, angry. We help individuals come to grips with the reality of loss, and support them in the healing process, seeking to support, not push, this process. Treatment at The Center assists those whose loss is fresh, and also those struggling with loss and abandonment issues from childhood.
Guilt
Few things are as debilitating as guilt. The Center is a safe place to evaluate important moments in people’s lives and find ways of dealing with the guilt. In some cases, this guilt is not based on false perceptions – chaining themselves to false guilt by the words and actions of the person truly responsible. We help people free themselves from this burden and learn to walk free of shame.
Marriage and Family
As a faith-based treatment program, The Center stands behind the bedrock foundations of marriage and the family. We are privileged to help couples begin or renew their lives together on solid footing. We are able to provide pre-marital and marriage strengthening, as well as work with families on parenting and child issues.

Ministry Burnout
Those involved in the caring professions, including ministers, pastors, lay leaders, elders and ministry leaders give so much of themselves every day. Often, they find they have little left over for themselves and their families. Discouraged and burned out, these vital servants need a time of reflection, restoration and renewal, which is what this Treatment Program is designed for.

Nutrition
We treat the whole-person to restore balance to the body, mind and spirit. We believe in the positive mind-body connection and how a healthy body can positively contribute to emotional healing. Parenting – Child/Adolescent
